Morning version

We will meet at the common assembly point which is the Partition Museum from 10 min before the start time. We will start our tour once all the guests have joined. After some basic introductions and instructions from our tour leader, we will start our quest for the delicious Amritsar Food.

While discussing the stories behind the pictures of the Partition Museum, we will first head towards the oldest shopping area of our city and will reach to taste the authentic sweet and tangy delight of the city Aam Papad. Made up of raw mangoes these are basically the delights that are actually good for digestion as well.

The next taste of the city would be something which would be available at every nuke and corner of the city and is loved by the locals which is Laddoo. Served with tangy carrots, and chutney, these are served immersed in the chutney or smokey hot.

Moving through the lanes and bylanes of the city we will reach towards the authentic food joint of the city and will taste its famous paneer bhurji. Then we will move ahead to have the flavor of masala chai from a generations-old tea seller along with Bunn and samosa - the Indian burger..

Exploring yet again the narrow lanes of the city, we will taste the spicy delight of the city - Nutri kulcha from a famous street food joint. This could be a scrumptious meal for our foodies. To complement it we would be reaching to a yet another generations-old shop which serves lassi to the locals as well as to the travelers. This would be the churned yogurt which would give you a feel of a complete meal.

Now after this heavy meal, we would also be digesting it a bit, so we will find our way from the narrow lanes and going through the most famous market of the city like the dry-fruit market, cloth market, bartan - utensils market, etc, we will reach to the famous pickle market where you would find an approx 40 types of pickles. Besides tasting them, you can even get them packed to take along with you as the souvenirs of the land.

Now is the time when we have reached our final destination - one of the hidden gem of Amritsar. The Ram Bagh Gate, being an unexplored site for the world tourism has a great relevance in the history since the time of Maharaja Ranjit Singh. Do you want to know more about this? Well, our experts will be there at your service for the same.

Now, this would be the place where we will bid farewell to our tour members and tour leader and take back with us the rich memories of the trip.

Evening version

We will meet at the common assembly point which is the Main Hall Gate from 10 min before the start time. We will start our tour once all the guests have joined. After some basic introductions and instructions from our tour leader, we will start our quest for the delicious Amritsar Food.

From Hall Gate, our group will first head towards the Bhandari bridge where we will taste the lip-smacking mix-vegetable fritters from an age-old shop. They serve these fritters which we commonly called as Pakore with an authentically spiced chutney and a peculiar bread which you will only get to see in Amritsar.

The next stop destination will be the Pink Plaza market, where we will make you familiar with the authentic taste of roasted soya chaap. Moving ahead from here we will now taste the lip-smacking and most popular drink of the Punjabis which is Lassi - the churned yogurt. Believe us, this would make you yearn for it daily.

Moving through the lanes and bylanes of the city we will enter the old bazaar from where we would taste a delicacy which is popularly served during the invites of Indian weddings as well. They are “Gur paare and shakar paare”. Made of jaggery these will give you the authentic taste of Amritsar.

After that, we will move towards enjoying our scrumptious meal which will be one of the authentic taste of the city in the old market and an old food joint which is the Cheese Naan. Made with stuffed cheese, butter and roasted in a clay oven, this will give your taste-buds a taste for the lifetime to remember.

Do not forget to keep some space for the mouthwatering dessert of the city - The Faluda Kulfi. Served with noodles on the top this would be liked and loved by people of all age groups.
